TYPE 092 (XIA CLASS) NUCLEAR-POWERED BALLISTIC MISSILE SUBMARINE

The first and only hull of the Type 092 missile submarine, ChangZheng 6 (pennant number 406), was launched in early 1981 and commissioned in 1983. No further unit has ever been built.
