YLC-4 2D Air Surveillance Radar | The Electronic Battlefield

The YLC-4 is a P-band, 2D air surveillance radar designed for long-range early warning. When used in conjunction with height-finding radar, the radar can also used to provide target information for air interception operations. The system can detect and identify air targets using information provided by other radar in the same air defence network. The radar can also be remotely controlled as a part of an integrated air defence system. With its long detection range and high-capacity data processing capability, the radar is being used as the backbone of China’s long-range air early warning networks.
