Note: The Type 518 (also known as “Hai Ying” or Sea Eagle, export name REL-2) is an L-band shipboard long-range air-surveillance radar developed by CETC. The radar is seen on the Type 052 Luhu class destroyers, installed on the top of the helicopter hanger. The radar is mainly used to detect medium- to high-altitude airborne targets and is claimed to have strong anti-jamming capability.
