JL3D-90A 3D AIR SURVEILLANCE RADAR

The JL3D-90A is a full-coherent, medium-/long-range S-band 3D air surveillance radar developed by Mianjiang Electronic System Engineering Ltd located at Chengdu, Sichuan Province. The radar uses mechanical rotation for azimuth scanning and electronic frequency phase scanning for vertical scanning. The radar has a maximum detection range of 300km (2 square metres RCS), and can process 200 targets every 10 seconds. The radar system is composed of five units, including a 5.2m X 5.4m antenna.
