TAS5380 Heavy Duty Truck

The TAS5380 is the 20t-capacity, 8X8 heavy duty vehicle developed by Taian Special Vehicle Manufactory in the early 1980s as the transporter-erector-launcher (TEL) vehicle of the DF-15 (CSS-6) short-range ballistic missile (SRBM) system. Over the years Taian has developed a number of variants for different weapon systems. The vehicle was also prompted in the civil truck market as special purpose and heavy duty truck. The TAS5380 is powered by an air-cooled diesel engine.
