The Dongfeng EQ2061E is the 1.5 tonne 4X4 version of the EQ2081E (EQ240) utility truck. The vehicle can be used for a range of roles including troop carrier, command and liaison, reconnaissance, aircraft hauling and special purpose shelter. With a smaller loading capacity and improved 100kW petrol (gasoline) engine, the EQ2061E features a much improved travelling performance compared to the basic variant EQ2081E.
The EQ2061E is powered by a liquid-cooled, 6-cylinder, 100kW petrol (gasoline) engine, with a maximum road speed of 90km/h and 0~60km/h acceleration in 25 seconds.
