Liebao Commander Vehicle
The Liebao (Cheetah) commander vehicle is the military version of the Hunan Changfeng Liebao series sport utility vehicle (SUV). The Liebao entered service with the PLA in the early 2000s as a replacement for its ageing legacy BJ212/2020S jeep. The Liebao is generally a copy of the third-generation Mitsubishi Pajero, which is also being co-produced by Hunan Changfeng Motor under license. The vehicle is powered by a 3.8-litre V6 engine, which utilises an Electronic Throttle Valve (ETV), to deliver a refined cruising power with power to spare for off-road travelling.
