The PLA is currently equipped with five types of incendiary bombs:
250-1 Incendiary Bomb (length: 1.5m; diameter: 325mm; wingspan: 410mm, weight: 135kg) is filled with yellow phosphorous and burning agent. The mixture of the two is ignited when the bomb hits the target. The bomb lacks stabilizing fins, and consequently acquire a tumbling motion on being dropped that contributes to the scattering of the combustible gel over a wide area.
250-2 Incendiary Bomb is a napalm (jellied gasoline) bomb.
250-3 Incendiary Bomb uses high-viscosity barium and aluminium agents and is fitted with a nose fuse and a tail fuse.
250-1 Incendiary-Blast Bomb has incendiary materials as well as 50kg high-explosive to generate greater damage to both soft and hard targets.
The Fuel Air Explosive (FAE) Bomb is also reportedly equipped by the PLA though the detailed information is unknown.
